Lauren Michelle
Designing a Life of Purpose and Possibility
From a young age, I have always been drawn to building, creating, and exploring what is possible. Entrepreneurship came naturally to me, and over the years, that spirit of curiosity has grown into a love for design, problem solving, and innovation.
My background bridges political science, technology, and design. After I earned a degree in Political Science and Global Development from Brigham Young University, I served in Patagonia, Argentina, on a religious and humanitarian mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that deepened my love for culture, service, and my belief in Jesus Christ.
Later, I earned a Master’s in Design Methods from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where I specialized in design methods and innovation strategy.
Along the way, I co-founded a nonprofit supporting survivors, developed digital systems for civic and business organizations, and helped bring complex ideas to life through design and technology. These experiences taught me that design is more than form; it is a way of seeing, connecting, and creating meaning.
Today, through Lauren Michelle Design, I help businesses and organizations bring their ideas to life through design, strategy, and innovation.
design philosophy
I believe design is divine and can be a vessel in which God, the Master Designer, can work through us to create meaningful and inspired solutions.

My belief in God and gratitude for Him fuels everything I do every single day.
As a Christian, my belief in God has been the single most constant thing in my life. My belief in God grounds me, it gives me hope, and it fuels me to become my best self and to fulfill the measure of my creation.

loving
I am loving my new book list for 2025, jamming to my favorite playlists, and movie nights with friends. I’m also loving my time back in California with family!

learning
I am learning that good friends are one of life's treasures, prayer will always calm my mind down, and saying less is a sure way to get more out of a conversation.
What I'm
not about
I’m not about letting fear hold you back. Chasing your dreams isn’t always easy, but it is fulfilling. And the goal for me has always been to live a full life over an easy one.

I believe that everything in life is working out for our good. The losses, the short falls, the difficult seasons always have a way of clearing our path for something better.
